We are excited to announce that we are now opening up nominations for our 2022 Scenic Hero Awards!
Scenic Michigan developed the Scenic Hero award to recognize entities that make a significant and lasting contribution to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the scenic character of Michigan’s roads and communities. Please let us know who you think is doing good work around the state. At the very least, we’d like to learn more and explore opportunities to support their efforts.
This year we are taking in nominations for 4 categories:
- Individuals: an individual who has worked through their career or volunteering to protect Michigan’s scenic resources.
- Businesses: a for-profit enterprise that enhances the character of Michigan’s roads and communities or works to preserve or protect Michigan’s scenic resources.
- Organizations: a non-profit organization that enhances the character of Michigan’s roads and communities or works to preserve or protect Michigan’s scenic resources.
- Communities: a municipality who has enacted initiatives or policies that help the community align with the mission of Scenic Michigan.
All applications will be reviewed at the October Board of Directors Meeting.
