Scenic Michigan is now opening up a portal for individuals to submit applications to join the Scenic Michigan Board of Directors. Our organization currently has up to four board openings that we are accepting applications for on a rolling basis. All applications will be considered by the current Scenic Michigan Board of Directors at every quarterly meeting to determine if we are able to move forward with a brief interview.
Qualified individuals should be passionate about the mission of Scenic Michigan and our principal activities, which include: combating billboard blight, advocating for thoughtful sign and lighting controls, supporting dark skies initiatives, working to enhance Michigan’s scenic byways, and working to protect Michigan’s breathtaking vistas.
The time commitment to joining the Scenic Michigan Board of Directors is attendance at four annual meeting and potentially some additional tasks working with the Executive Director throughout the year.
